Smt Kayalvizhi Kabilan, A Kalaimamani Awardee Honored by the Government of Tamil Nadu in the year 2008.
Kayalvizhi Kabilan is the founder of Kayals Academy of Performing Arts, based in Sholinganallur, Chennai. She is an accomplished Bharatanatyam artist who has performed in numerous solo and thematic productions across the world. Having trained under renowned gurus and participated in various workshops, she brings depth and authenticity to her teaching. Alongside regular classes, she actively conducts workshops and organizes annual festivals to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers.

At Kayals Academy, we believe Bharatanatyam is not just a dance form, but a path of discipline, devotion, and self-transformation. Rooted in tradition and guided by structured learning, we build strong foundations while nurturing expression, confidence, and cultural values in every student. Along with Bharatanatyam, we offer training in mridangam, vocal, violin, and keyboard, giving students a holistic understanding of performing arts. We also equip students with professional stage skills such as lighting, live sound, video recording, and post-editing, ensuring they not only learn the art but also present it on stage with confidence and professionalism.
